Ms. Denise White  is well deserving of the honor "Teacher of the Year". The amount of dedication she demonstrates to our student population is astounding. It can be very easy to arrive in an environment such as a juvenile detention center, and lose perspective on academic goals. As an educator, Ms. White has gone above and beyond the call of duty to provide the necessary supports, and access to resources to improve upon the conditions of our youth.
